-Get creative with friends, family and/or coworkers enjoying hands on experience creating your own garden bouquet of locally grown fresh cut blooms.
- Learn about our flower farm and how we grow seasonal blooms on a small scale.
- Receive tips on how to harvest and care for fresh cut flowers.
- Learn some new arrangement skills and take home your own stunning fresh flower bouquet made by you!
-Workshop can take place at our farm in Sturgeon County or at a location chosen by you.
-Please note- this is not a U-pick. Flowers will be pre-picked and provided for the workshop.
-I provide floral arrangements or bulk DIY flowers for several occasions including:
- Baby or wedding showers
- Anniversaries
- Parties
- Funerals
-Corporate events/team building
-Select weddings*
Minimum 10 participants. Less than 20 people will incur an additional $100 travel/time fee. Maximum 25 people per workshop.
Pricing will vary depending on the type of event and amount/type of flowers or arrangements required. Please contact me below for specific event details and pricing.
*A note about weddings: I will choose to do select weddings if we are a good match to work together. Florals from a flower farm have a more natural look (not as structured) and specific varieties/exact colors cannot be guaranteed due to seasonality/weather, etc. I can offer bulk flowers as well for DIY brides. Please contact me.

-Once your preferred event/workshop date is confirmed, I will require a deposit to hold the date (refundable if you cancel with at least 2 weeks' notice). This amount will be $100 for workshops and will vary for other types of events.
-Once you book and provide me with details, I will send you an invoice and a contract with all of the financial deadlines outlined, as well as specific event details (i.e. : time, address, etc.).
-Two days before the event, 50% of the total cost will be due and non-refundable as I will start cutting flowers for the event/workshop.
-The remainder will be due the morning of the event prior to arrival/floral delivery.
-E-transfer (theruralbotanist@outlook.com) is my preferred method of payment and you will receive a receipt following any payments.
-For on-farm workshops/events I will have an outdoor area setup, and an indoor shop for inclement weather.
- I am not currently licensed to provide food or alcohol on my property during workshops/events.
-Should you cancel more than 2 weeks prior to your event/workshop you will receive a full refund on any deposits (Please note- this does not apply to weddings).
-Should you cancel with less than 2 weeks prior to your event/workshop you will forfeit your initial deposit
-Should you cancel less than 2 days before your event/workshop and have already paid the 50% deposit you will forfeit that deposit as I have already begun work cutting flowers for the event.
