Products and Services
Due to the seasonal and varied nature of our product, we cannot guarantee any specific variety of flowers will be available for an event, for purchase or provided in a subscription bouquet at any point in time. Colors and sizes of bouquets will vary with what is in bloom at the time. We may have a limited amount of products available for purchase on our website at any given time. We limit sales and distribution of our products to a specific geographic area that we are able to service. Anyone choosing to make a purchase who is located outside of this dedicated area will need to be able to pickup or have their products delivered within our service area to receive their order.
The Rural Botanist requires at minimum 2 days notice to prepare a bouquet or an order. This timeframe may be extended depending on a variety of factors including but not limited to weather, vacation, illness, etc.
Event bookings are subject to availability.
We aim to meet high quality standards and provide quality products, but we cannot guarantee a quality standard that will meet every individual expectation. Therefore issues of quality, within reason, will not be corrected. Refer to our return and refund policy for more information.
After purchase of a Business Subscription, you will be contacted by the Rural Botanist to choose delivery dates and sign a sales agreement.
Prices on the website are subject to change without notice.
In the event of a crop failure due to any circumstance we reserve the right to cancel and refund any subscription service or order. We reserve the right to withhold or cancel any product or service at any given time with no prior notice. The Rural Botanist is not liable for any adjustments, price changes, suspension or cancellation of products or services offered. In the event that we modify or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or phone number provided at the time the order was placed.

Modifications to these Terms
The Rural Botanist reserves the right to edit, modify, and change this Agreement any time. We will let our users know of these changes through electronic mail, if it is deemed required. This Agreement is an understanding between The Rural Botanist and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements regarding the use of this website.
All Sales are final***.
Due to the perishable nature of the products The Rural Botanist does not offer returns or refunds on any products. No refunds will be provided if delivery dates are cancelled by the recipient, if the recipient is unable to receive an agreed upon delivery or the Rural Botanist has attempted, but for whatever reason (caused by the recipient) is unable to deliver an agreed upon bouquet. Gift cards are also non-refundable.
Once the product has been delivered you, the customer, are solely responsible for the condition of your flowers. We provide tips and best practices for extending the vase life of your bouquet on our Purchase Bouquets page.
We strive to provide a high quality product and will deliver what we truly believe to be a valuable collection of blooms. However, as mentioned in our terms of service, we will be unable to provide refunds based on individual quality expectations. If there is obvious damage to a product upon receipt please contact us immediately (include photos) and will will attempt to rectify the issue. Again, once the product has left our hands we are no longer responsible for its condition.
If we can resolve any issues regarding purchases we would be happy to help.

***In the event of a total crop failure, any pre-purchased subscription services will be fully refunded. If we are unable to provide a product you will not be charged.
Subscription and Individual bouquets can be delivered for an extra charge of $15 per delivery (i.e.: if you have a 10 week subscription you will be charged for 10 deliveries). If you choose the delivery option this charge will be added to your subscription purchase automatically. I deliver within Sturgeon County, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan and Edmonton. If you are located elsewhere please arrange a pickup location within our delivery area.
Alternatively, you can pick up your order free of charge from our farm. Approximate pickup and delivery dates, times and location will be arranged.
Business subscriptions will be delivered to your place of business.
To ensure quality, you must be available to receive your bouquet upon delivery. Delivery times will be arranged ahead of time. If you are not able to receive your delivery in person, please leave a bucket of cool water on your front porch somewhere out of the sun for me to place your flowers in and plan to be home promptly. If there is no vessel of water the bouquet will be left on the front porch where quality may be compromised if not tended to shortly. Once delivery has been completed The Rural Botanist relinquishes any responsibility for the condition of the product. Should you be unavailable for any delivery date during your subscription period you have the choice to have your bouquet delivered to another address within our delivery area (friend or family) if you contact me at least two days prior to delivery otherwise that date will be forfeited (no returns or discounts for unavailable dates). Please ensure the occupants of the new delivery address are aware that there will be a delivery that day.
